自製發音小書,孩子學習更深刻!My Mini-book

課程來到short a的發音單元
我決定先從word family開始,帶領學生做小書,並連結繪本與故事資源,開啟學生多元學習。

phonics --short a--lesson plan:

1. storybook "Fat Cat"
2. drill time, song: PreK Pups Word Family
3. Student-book reciting
4. Spelling wheel
5. Student makes their mini-book, "My Mini-book of -at".

Content:

1. storybook "Fat Cat"
published by Innovative Kids, 2001.
I love these phonics readers a lot!

5. Make mini-book, "My Mini-book of -at"
這個方法是在某次騎車上班時想到的,想出來後覺得很開心,不過或許可以多爬些文,搞不好這折法早就有老師做過,我就不用邊騎車邊神遊也。

Procedure:

1) Prepare a piece of paper.

2) Fold it into four equal parts. (as picture)

3) Cut them apart.

4) Put them together. Fold them in half, and open it.

5) Fold the left side to the center line.

6) Staple the book. Start to write!

7) write the initial letters on the first few pages, and the sentences on the last three pages.

8) Get signature on the back of the book.

★學生自動在句子頁面加了中文解釋。我並不反對英語課一定非得No Chinese,其實中英對照對程度低落的同學而言,更方便他們閱讀。(但是中文翻譯非必要,重點是要畫出句子的意思。)

This book is about cats. There're wild cats, thin cats, cute cats, and sit-on-the lap cats. So many kinds of cats. It's a good book to learn adjectives.
